I imagine its tricky to design a card for a notable character with a color in their name, as well as to make art that then still has to show all those colors
It just shouldnt be the upper ceiling of what your card can do: having your worst scenario be Cancel is perfectly manageable, given a sufficiently attractive best case
Conclusion: Sleeves for the Deadliest MTG Strategy with Poison Counters If your MTG deck is all about toxic creatures, infect and poison counters then Toxic Poison Sleeves are for you
At a 3/4 vigilance for three mana, its just efficient enough to make the cut while giving you a nice discount on some spells for the rest of the game
I currently have a Padeem deck built around mind control effects and artifacts that runs it
It works particularly well in control decks that have plenty of ways to dig through their library, counter spells, and disrupt the opponent through cards like Blood Moon
