This is not a "check once a day" problem it is a "check constantly" problem
White is actually a bit weak in that regard, though if you happen to have a Land Tax, its pretty easy to keep your hand flush with extra Plains
The threat of the buff from a Resilient Khenra or Earthshaker Khenras ability to deprive a blocker can really throw an opponent for a loop
I dont care if I discard my hand, as I can cast cards from my graveyard
