This is a bit of a go wide deck like the last Amber starter, but its also focused on a second mechanic: item sacrifice

For five mana, this Artifact lets you pay two mana and tap it to roll a dice, then you have to subtract the number of cards in your hand from the result, and if the result of that is 0, you have to discard your hand

He can be a real thorn in your opponents side if you can quest with him on turn three, and block potential challengers

However, the actual cards have the ID of 3/C1 meaning the third card in the 1st Challenge set

You also dont need to wait until your upkeep for winning to occur, a nice bonus when looking at certain cards on this list

Meren is more of a Reanimator deck that can do some sacrificing for value, and Chatterfang is a Squirrel typal list and also a tokens deck that wants to swarm the board, not chew through it
