Black and red both also deal direct damage to creatures and players (black with draining effects and red with normal direct damage), destroy lands, boost power (both with spells and self-pumping), have or grant haste, and have intimidate (they are #1 and #2 for it)
It gives access to some different colours and allows players to utilise previously unplayed cards
I imagine some players will be happy chump blocking to make sure the damage cost does not get assessed
Since blocking creatures can typically only block one attacking creature at a time, a token decks sheer numbers make quantity more important than quality, as they simply barge through several better creatures and force enough combat damage through to reduce their oppositions life totals to 0
Its controller may search his or her library for a basic land card, put that card onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle his or her library
Speaking of competition, unlike some of our other Commanders, you really only have two choices if you want to play five-color Dragons in CommanderScion of the Ur-Dragon or The Ur-Dragonwhich means The Ur-Dragon will likely see a lot of play by default
