Over the years, Konami has introduced a number of decks to the game that have become meta relevant, but they rely on having boss monsters in the deck rather than outside of it
Weakness: Water (x2) Resistance: none Retreat: 1 Pikachu Lightning HP70 Basic Pokemon [C] Growl: During your opponents next turn, the Defending Pokemons attacks do 20 less damage (before applying Weakness and Resistance)
Dimir Excruciator A top tier mill deck is a surprising thing to see, but Dimir Excruciator took home the trophy during Pro Tour Lorwyn Eclipsed
You can buy yourself time by stalling their development, but they will get there eventually
Ryusei, the Falling Star
Heres how it plays out: You are required to have The Gitrog Monster out, Dakmor Salvage in hand and more than 7 cards in hand total At the end of the turn, discard down to hand size, discarding Dakmor Salvage This gives you a draw card trigger from The Gitrog Monster Priority passes to opponents On resolution of the draw trigger, replace this with the dredge from Dakmor Salvage, milling 2 cards and returning Dakmor Salvage to hand As it is still the cleanup step you still need to discard down to 7 cards in hand, again discarding Dakmor Salvage and repeating the combo above on a loop The idea is you loop this to fill your graveyard and try to win from there
