First, it generates you infinite mana with the combo mentioned above, and second, its a great ramp piece when used with some of the four-mana ramp spells, such as Circuitous Route

The second Tibalt card is the one thats causing the biggest fuss here, and its because of how it interacts with an existing mechanic
