That said, it's one of those cards that's really easy to overestimate and I guess that's what happened here
And it has an activated ability, so you can use it as a control wincon
He still needed a five-color effect to let players play all their Towns in Commander, so we were missing a short ability that contained Designing cards to work well in both Standard and Commander is a common challenge, and this is a common solution: designing the core functionality around what works in two-player formats, then adding a splashy expensive ability that sells a big dream and cements the build-around
