There is one tiny catch: you'll sacrifice the creature when it enters the battlefield
If you draw them later in the game, they're essentially dead cards that won't provide any value to you or power to your board
3/3 haste for 3 is an okay rate, and if the card is dealt damage once, it can shut down their lifegain for the rest of the game
A 9/9 Flier that casts two Maelstrom Pulses, draws two cards, and probably burns your opponent to death is no joke
