Well, maybe not

Going to 7 loyalty and making 2 1/1's means it's unlikely to die, the 2 CMV return can get you a bunch of useful creatures or fetchlands back, the damage either pings off troublesome creatures or goes face, and the 6 means you get 2 more shots at any of the above

The extra +1+1 it provides has mattered

These all have activated abilities that you can activate only if you have a coven on your board (and can pay the other costs, like in Sungold Sentinels case, or in Dawnhart Mentors case)

Combine that ability with Equipment and other evasive Creatures, you can potentially mill 10-20 cards each turn

Step 6: Peel your finished cards off the template Make sure you let the ink dry a bit first so that you dont smudge it Step 7: Position new cards on the template and repeat No need for more glue
