The Gunship creatures token creatures and gives your creatures flying when it attacks

Cards like Ephemerate and Eerie Interlude allow the player to re-use their doubled ETB effects anytime they need them while also saving their creatures from removal or lethal combat damage

You're not going to get much off of it if your commander only costs one or two mana (though you could still topdeck something spicy, it isn't worth the gamble of eight mana)
