Funnily enough, you also have a trick whereby animating it twice gives it two instances of the trigger, so you can pick up two counters in one attack
Collectors of Magic The Gathering cards value these ratings, as it proves the card is legitimate, and so you'll likely get a higher price for your card than if you tried to sell one without it
Why play Flooded Strand in your Jeskai deck when you can play Windswept Heath to be able to play Smoldering Marsh and not be able to fetch basic Island when you are under pressure in the early turns

While some hyper efficient, single-target interaction like countermagic and Path to Exile is useful, you should also invest in cards like Grasp of Fate, Soul Shatter, and Convert to Slime to keep ahead on cards while putting your opponents behind on the board
I dont think it was a stellar deck choice for the event, but its becoming a pet deck of mine that has served me well across numerous tournaments at this point
