Affinity becomes too powerful an ability when you get to count most of your lands, as do Arcbound Ravager and Disciple of the Vault, and there are also older effects like Goblin Welder that can make the situation even worse

Though, it can be argued this is true in some regard with all card games, on or offline

Both are easy to trade for but very difficult to move because the causal players who actually want these cards are generally unwilling to trade for them at $10
