This is yet another very special collaboration between Magic: The Gathering and an iconic franchise that forms part of the TCGs Universes Beyond theme
rare type cards take players to a new level, which will be closed to novice battle fans
While Thunder King Rai-oh is on the board, neither player can add cards from the deck to the hand except by drawing them, which is a great way for players to disrupt the opponent when they are trying to stop players
Steel Hellkite, Deep-Sea Kraken, and Sphinx of Jwar Isle are just a few examples of expensive cards better suited to Limited sideboards than an EDH deck
When banishing a card from the GY to use its effect, for example the aforementioned Zefra Providence, you are NOT activating the card itself, but its effects instead (in the case of Zefra Providence not even an effect is activated but thats another can of worms)
"Hey, I'm going to play this card that makes it so I can't do anything to get a leg up in the game." It's silly because it's a card that will negatively affect only yourself and you have to play it
