The thing with the Illustrator is its not the rarest card, acknowledges influential Pokmon TCG trader Nasser, better known as Mister Fuji, who helped to broker Pauls purchase of the PSA 10 Illustrator

It also has the modal ETB ability, and the obvious choice there most of the time is to go with the fight effect, as it allows you to kill something and add to the board at the same time

Search your library for up to two land cards, put them onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle

Its still stupidly expensive, but all of the effects are useful
