Sword of the Animist pumps a creature by +1/+1 and equips for and then when it swings you get to ramp a basic tapped

You can theoretically draw a card for each creature you control, and you even get some free spells since you dont have to pay for equipment, which makes it stronger than, say, Armory Paladin

At such a low mana value getting to dip into your opponent spells as well is pretty nice

The game has a more or less similar aesthetic to that of Magic, except for the occasional gun or more modern-looking character

This is also pretty much the only monarch card that can retrigger without a flicker effect or something
