Rather than forcing players to play around a continuous effect, limiting plays to a single attribute or monster type, Evenly Matched is activated at the end of the Battle Phase and forces your opponent to banish cards of their choice until both players control the same amount of cards
Only the leader-specific payoff cards (Red markers, Green synergies, etc.) are faction-locked
Tezzeret the Seeker is still my favorite of the three because all three abilities are so darn useful, but all these cards are solid inclusions in any Artifact deck
As long as you have enough creatures to consistently trigger its enter the battlefield ability, Masked Vandal can become an excellent answer to a threatening artifact or enchantment while keeping your board presence rolling along
This is a card I want to own a playset of if I'm playing with it, but it's not a card I want to invest in
Its limited print run and unique presentation make it a valuable and sought-after addition to any collection.
