Drawing an extra card every turn is just as good in Commander as it is everywhere else, and the life cost of doing so means far less when you start with a beefy 40 life
It is fine as red monsters go but not really offering anything new or overly powerful to the colour

The deck also suffers a bit from the classic midrange dilemma, in that its a mix of answers and threats that you just hope to draw up in the right quantities
Looks-wise, it's far from our favorite - the 4th generation Legendary Pokmon are big beasts with lots of extraneous details, and they just don't look very good crammed into one card, even with the lovely rainbow colors and holo treatment
For instance, if you make 4 tokens on turn 4, you can tap those tokens to generate two more mana and perhaps make another 2 tokens
