In fact, its arguable that Soothsaying is better in Geralf decks since it is more budget (~$1.59) and somewhat more consistent than Lantern, and to that, Id say that because Soothsaying can be good in a lot of blue decks that like library manipulation like Intet, the Dreamer and Keranos, God of Storms, it immediately removes itself from running for the prestigious Second-in-Command spot (refer to my first article about my specific qualifications for this column, because I am very picky)
