At the same time, by focusing more on the middle ground, Ruby/Amethyst doesnt fair quite as well in the late game as, for example, Ruby/Sapphire that has access to tons of powerful card removal characters and insane lore gaining capabilities
It also doesn't hurt that I do love my demons
However, if we were to compare the sheer value you would get from both decks, this one has more cards I could picture in the competitive world, or worth a few bucks to sell individually
This isnt the new normal, and other sets going forward will contain mostly new cards
But in a Commander birds deck, always stronger than you think theyll be, this card is pretty sweet
