what happens to that creature in the grave (in this case they cease being creatures) is illrelevant
The design is masterfully done with each card having their own transform conditions, perfectly capturing the lore behind their character
Not to mention that just looting it away to get it back when you Doom Blade an opposing threat is a powerful synergy in its own right
Just playing defensively and looking to trade cards with your opponent will naturally fill your yard and charge up payoffs like Exdeath, Cloud of Darkness and The Final Days
This deck, despite having some strong synergy, actually felt very clunky to use, and to date is one of my least favorite starter decks
So long as you keep cards that can remove damage from these characters on standby (like Dinglehopper, Hakuna Matata, or Cinderella, Gentle and Kind) you should be able to keep the gravy train rolling until victory is yours
