Alanias decent toughness makes her an effective blocker when needed, but the lack of a spell-based combat booster like Prowess means that she works best as an engine piece rather than an active attacker

Some of my favorite cards include priming your creatures (Berserkers' Onslaught, Glorious Anthem, Mass Hysteria, True Conviction, Collective Blessing), giving everybody something fun (Kami of the Crescent Moon, Eladamri's Vineyard, Well of Knowledge) or something that can help folks make the most of a problematic situation (Fecundity, Silent Arbiter, Oath of Lieges) or cards like Revelation or Field of Dreams
After all, there arent many pods where you dont need creature removal or graveyard hate, right
Pentarch Paladin Five mana for a 3/3 creature is steep, but you can destroy a permanent every turn once Pentarch Paladin is in play, provided that its in the chosen color
