Not only is Tidus, Blitzball Star a decent artifact build-around, but its one of my favorite Limited card designs: a Master of Diversion

Three drops like Gaelicat and Tidus, Blitzball Star can rack up damage fast while evading or neutralizing blockers, and Slash of Light will be at its most effective

This makes it a great toolbox card for fetching unique one-ofs in your deck, and its a great way to find combo pieces in decks like Kiki-Chord or Eldritch Evolution shells

There is one Crystal for each of the five colors in Magic: the Gathering each of which will cost four mana

Plus there's something slick about that 7 toughness that makes me happy
