I wasnt very impressed with this card at first, but after playing with it a bit more, it suits what the deck is trying to do and does a great job of enabling Righteous Valkyrie draws

If you play Burgeoning turn 1, you can have three lands out for turn 2, but this has little or no guarantee of working at any other point in the game

The way the deck works you play a card like Molten Psyche draw more cards, draw another card like Molten Psyche and repeat as much as the cards you draw and your mana allows

Id probably want a fair number of cheap artifacts that draw cards you can sacrifice to Lucas and enable you to cast two spells a turn to enable Maxs ability

I think its better than it looks, but thats not a very high bar to surpass
