You can use this benevolently, to prevent yourself or another player from being wiped out, or maliciously, as part of a dastardly combo deck that puts the card under an Isochron Scepter and casts it every single turn cycle to stay in the game

Its difficult to play the game when suddenly half of your cards are unplayable, and half of your creatures (more, if you have tokens) cant block for you anymore

If the last Rare isn't constructed playable, it feels terrible to use a Rare wildcard on it, just to know that I have the set
