I could give him big stats and scary abilities so that once he got in play he would do "terrible" things, but most of the time the card was stuck in your hand
Since you get the effect of the ciphered spell once before the encoding, its better than the 2-for-1 if your aura'ed creature is hit with a Doom Blade
There are some other one-time bundles that contain wildcards, too, such as the Spark Bundle, which comes with 4 of each wildcard, plus 1,500 gems and some cosmetics

The many popular 4-color and 5-color commander decks like Jodah, the Unifier, the Ur-Dragon, Atraxa (both), and Slivers should have a natural home for Wrenn and Realmbreaker
At least Call the Spirits tries to be new-ish with its theme, but the theme isn't particularly well done, with tons of cards that are neither enchantments, nor play well with them
