Uncle's Awa Club: Kalapana, Hawai'i Black & White Finishing this painting took forever-In the summer of 2025, I traveled to the Big Island of Hawaii to volunteer on a permaculture farm and get inspiration from the land. One of our excursions with the farm host was down to the southernmost tip of the island where Uncle Robert's country dance kava bar held a weekly party to keep his memory alive.
