The upkeep triggers stack on your turn, at the beginning of your turn, and then you move forward

Refilling your hand and getting an extra turn provides plenty of gas to turn a slow game in your favor

This does still require a lot of setups, which is why it doesnt rank higher than this, but I can see a lot of decks wanting this card and also finding it very rewarding to build around it as the commander

If a checklist card is used in a deck, the card it represents is set aside prior to the beginning of the game (see rule 103.1a) and must remain available throughout the game
