WotC pulled off some cool things like MDFCs that can transform from one side to another, borderless saga cards that read like comic book pages, and cards that are fun to say as you play them, like Whoosh
The Hive is a $10 card for a reason, and, while the Tea Shop likely wont be worth as much, its just as powerful for Ally decks, even monochromatic ones, as a mana fixer and mana sink
Clive Rosfield deals damage equal to that spell's mana value to that player or a planeswalker that player controls

Ultimecia, Time Sorceress Ultimecia, Time Sorceress is definitely flashy, but is very pricey and on her front side doesnt do that much with an undersized body with a middling ability, until you can get 8 mana to have her transform and time walk
