As soon as he hits the field, he forces a discard from each opponent (a good way to make everyone in Commander hate you, and some love you, depending on the deck they play)
But there are lots of other options too, like filling your graveyard with a recursion target and getting the creature that can grab it (such as a big fatty and Karmic Guide for the 5th turn)
Sure getting the trample and haste when you first cast it is nice, but after that you're left with a vanilla 7/7 as your Commander, and that is just not going to get you there
Horizon Explorer Of all the cards listed here, Horizon Explorer is the closest to a pet card that you'll see
Anathemancer punishes them severely for this with a deadly early creature and the promise of a much bigger hit later down the lineone that can't profitably be countered and can't be stopped with discard, which will force many control decks to consider alternate means of dealing with the problem such as an Identity Crisis
While not worth quite as much as some of the other Lorcana D23 cards in the set, Robin Hood, Unrivaled Archer will still cost you a pretty penny to add to your collection
